ThemeShuffle
A fast party game in the spirit of "30 Seconds". Describe words from different themes without saying the word itself.
ThemeShuffle came out of a friend group with so many of our own words and inside jokes that putting those on cards seemed more fun than working through the standard "30 Seconds" list.
How you play
Pick an existing theme, combine categories, or enter your own words. The app replaces the board game completely. Instead of drawing a card, you pass the phone around. You set whether there's a timer and how long it runs, whether you play in teams, and whether the game stops at a score limit or just keeps going.
Sharing and printing
Your own word lists are saved, so you can share them through a unique link. You can also export a list as a PDF and print it yourself. Firebase Functions handles those print jobs, with Stripe for payment, and stores the lists.
Still in use
New words still land in the WhatsApp group with my friends. Someone says something funny, someone else throws it in. Every so often I update the list and share the new link, so everyone plays the same version.
